LEADERSHIP
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, HEATHER SCHNEIDER
Heather was born and raised in Kansas but has called Adair home since 2011. She is married to Kahl and together they have four children: Quynton, Paxton, Treyton, and Brexton, all of whom were Club kids growing up!
Heather began her journey with the Boys & Girls Club in 2013 and has served as Executive Director since 2020.
She is passionate about her community and the well being of local youth. Heather takes great pride in providing a safe, welcoming space with top tier programming and dedicated staff for children across five counties in Iowa.
In her free time, Heather enjoys supporting her children in their activities, attending community events, and spending time camping with her family and friends.
GREENFIELD SUMMER PROGRAM DIRECTOR, MCKYNNA NEWBURY
I’m excited to introduce myself as the Summer Program Director for the Boys & Girls Club here in Greenfield! My name is McKynna Newbury, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to serve the community I grew up in.
I’m currently wrapping up my second year of teaching as a special education teacher. I graduated from Northwest Missouri State in 2024, and I’m passionate about helping students learn, grow, and feel supported.
In my free time, I enjoy going on walks with my dog, Tilly, as well as spending time with my family and friends. I’m also very dedicated to my Goodreads goal, so reading is something I love to do!
This role is especially meaningful to me because I previously worked at the Boys & Girls Club in Adair during the summer of 2023. I’m so excited to be back with the organization and to help create a fun, safe, and engaging summer for all of our kids.
I’m looking forward to meeting all of the families and building a great summer together, full of learning, laughter, and memories
